CHRRD's New 12-Member Board

16th May, 2003 - The Centre for Human Rights Research and Development (CHRRD) has appointed a 12 - member Board of Trustees to run its affairs.  A successful London-based publisher, businessman, human rights activist and political analyst, Chief Lekan Ladipo has been named as Chairman of the Board of the NGO.  Other members are Dr (Mrs) Bose Ofi, Mallam Shehu Sanni, Prof Bunmi Ayoade and Comrade Mashood Erubami, Secretary and Executive Director.  Also on the Board are Mr. Innocent Chukwuma, Comrade David Ajetumobi, Architect Sukky Onadeko, Mr. Bayowa Adedeji, Canada-based journalist, Mr. Festus Adedayo, Dr (Mrs) Bimpe Okunade and Mr. Dayo Omotoso, acting Media Director.

Four renowned lawyers will serve as Defence Counsels for the Center, namely Barrister Kunle Adeigbe, Barrister Tunde Ojeohomon, Barrister Ranti Ajeleti and Barrister Niyi Akintola, SAN.

The CHRRD was established in 1992.
